How to Choose Your Carpet Color

Carpeting is one of the most difficult components of decorating. There are so many decisions to make: style of carpet (berber, saxony, frieze, etc.), fiber type (nylon, polyester, triexta, etc.), quality, and finally, color.

Color is often the most difficult decision for customers, for several reasons. It can be tough to visualize the color in a large space, judging from a tiny swatch. A color change can have a dramatic effect, and sometimes even though a change is desired, it can be a bit scary.

Occasionally, customers have a hard time because the color they like doesn't suit their lifestyle (for example, they love the look of a white carpet, but have kids and pets and don't want to have to worry about soiling).
