Amangiri Luxury Resort Hotel in Utah (USA).

The word Amangiri means “peaceful mountain,” a fitting name for this resort tucked into a protected valley with stunning views of a rainbow of stratified rock near the Grand Staircase, Escalante National Monument in Utah. Designed to harmonize with the landscape, its natural color palette, materials, and textures enhance its setting, and vice-versa. Via a winding road, you make your way first to the central pavilion, built around the resort’s swimming pool and featuring an impressive natural rock accent. This pavilion is the “hub” of the hotel, containing a living room, gallery, library, dining room, and wine cellar. From here, some 34 suites spread out in two wings, like a string of glowing pearls in the desert sand.

Inside your suite, you’ll find all the comforts of home: dining space, combined bedroom/living area with a desk and a king-sized the bed, and sitting areas with sofas — as well as panoramic windows through which to enjoy the scenery as you relax before the fire. Bathrooms hold twin vanities, rain showers, and soaking tubs that include a view! The pool’s a short walk away, as is a sky terrace for stargazing. What else is there to do here? Plenty: hiking, boating, kayaking, and exploring the wonderful Canyon area are only the beginning; every Amangiri property boasts of its spa, and you won’t want to miss having a pampering treatment at this one. Amangiri is a collection of peaceful moments — private spas, plunge pools, and all — in the midst of some of the most beautiful desert country anywhere.
