Less than two months old, Amanusa's 10 new villas are on
offer for rent. The three- to six-bedroom private dwellings sit adjacent to the
legendary resort, which opened in 1992 with 35 rooms. Each of the villas rests
on an acre of land and has a private pool and landscaped gardens, and each
comprises a series of thatch-roof pavilions that separate the main living areas
from the private sleeping areas; a discrete service building at each unit
includes a kitchen, laundry facilities, and staff quarters. Nightly rates range
from $3,000 to $5,000.
Amanusa is one of three Amanresorts properties in Bali, but
it is the only one with an adjacent golf course. The resort also offers
pristine white sand beaches, as well as access to nearby shopping, nightlife,
